The Bombora Surf Resort Yeppoon is preparing to launch! 

Global Surf Parks is preparing to construct the world's first Surf Lakes surf park!

Situated 15 minutes from Yeppoon and the edge of the Great Barrier Reef and 20 minutes from the Rockhampton major airport, Bombora is set to offer unique land development opportunities as well as capacity for 224 surfers per hour with a guarantee of 9, perfect waves to suit everyone's surfing capability.

Bombora is an indigenous Australian term for an area of large sea waves breaking over a shallow area such as a submerged rock shelf, reef, sand bank or Surf Lake that is located some distance from the shoreline and beach surf break... or bommi as the slang.
